Sexton and the Irish made the All Blacks fold (©Iconsport)
Until the end of the suspense, the Irish fought a fierce battle to seek victory over the All Blacks this Saturday in Dublin (29-20), three tests for two. At the end of a very intense meeting where the debates were mainly conducted by the XV of Clover, the All Blacks never managed to take the lead but did not give up. Above physically, the Irish scored the first try of the meeting on an effort from James Lowe (14th).
After the break, the teammates of Jonathan Sexton, did not have an easy end of the game, facing an iron New Zealand defense. Ireland trembled but did not yet crack.
Despite the last New Zealand efforts at the end of the game thanks to two individual tests, Ireland did not let go, pushing the future opponents of the XV of France to fault. Les All Blacks surely narrowly miss their match point in the money time for a refused try. But they will certainly be revenge next week at the Stade de France to end this fall tour.
