Actor Bolek Polívka took his time with his third wedding. He married his beloved Marcela only after three children and 24 years of living together. And the wedding was like a fairy tale.
Pain Soup he has been faithful to one and only woman for almost thirty years – his beautiful Marcela, with whom he has three children. It was only next to her that the former lover of women was able to settle down and find peace. Even so, he only married her four years ago. At the same time, the wedding was also a gift for Marcela for her fiftieth birthday.
He kept his promise
As Bolek Polívka revealed years ago in an interview for the prime time show Showtime, he and Marcela had been talking about marriage for many years. He finally promised to marry her on her fiftieth birthday. “I promised her that when she was in her fifties I would marry her, if the children agreed.” Our František then said a memorable sentence: So welcome to the family, mom.” the actor said with a laugh.
He also stated that he proposed to his love as befits and belongs. He knelt before her in the theater foyer. The wedding then took place on February 22, 2020. The couple in love said their yes both during the civil ceremony and also in the church.
Secret wedding
Back then, the partners made sure that no one knew about their wedding except those closest to them. So they did everything to keep the ceremony completely secret. And they succeeded. The fact that they had entered into a marriage union was announced by themselves only three days later through the Facebook pages of the Bolka Polívka Theatre. Mr. and Mrs. Bartoš went as their witnesses.
She didn’t believe it at first
Bolek Polívka and his wife Marcela met in 1996 and immediately fell in love. The actor was still married to Chantal Poullainbut at that time they were already living separately. Bolko was surrounded by a number of women who sought his heart. But Marcela interested him the most. According to her, it surprised her. “I would never have thought before that I would meet Bolek Polívka. That out of all the women he had around him, he would choose me.” she said years ago in an interview for iTODAY.
At the same time, Marcela knew very well that the actor’s relationships were somewhat unstable and that each of the children that Bolek Polívka had at that time was fathered by a different woman. Six children
Bolek Polívka has a total of six offspring. His eldest child is a daughter Kamilawhich arose from the actor’s marriage to the beautiful Stanislava. Kamila makes a living as a theater director and does not seek media attention.

They divorced in 2002, but at that time they had not lived in the same household for several years. Even today, they are very close and remain good friends years after the divorce.
