Outlaw Puss in Boots learns that his passion for danger and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Although he himself has lost count, it turns out that he has lost eight of his nine lives. To get those lives back, he embarks on his greatest adventure yet.

Antonio Banderas returns as the voice of the infamous Cat who sets out on a journey across the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star and regain his lost lives. With only one life left, he must put his pride aside and enlist the help of his former partner and nemesis, the endearing Kitty Catpaw (Salma Hayek). On their journey, against their better judgement, Puss in Boots and Kitty are joined by the scruffy, chatty, always cheerful mutt Perro.
