The Spielberg Graz Giants project and the SsangYong Danube Dragons will meet for the second time on Saturday, but this time in Graz. In the first leg in Vienna, the Dragons were the clear winners from the field, although they could only really prevail in the second half. Since then, however, the coaching situation at Projekt Spielberg Graz Giants has changed. The Styrians parted ways with Martin Kocian before Week 3. OC Brandon Gorsuch and DC Daniel Schönet took over the helm and celebrated a 31-0 win against Rangers Mödling as head coach duo. “After the changes in the last few weeks, we as an organization have found our way that we want to go and we know what to expect. The last meeting of the Dacia Vikings and the Prague Black Panthers was hard to beat in terms of excitement. Similar to Week 3 against the Swarco Raiders Tirol, the Prague players were in the lead in the 2019 playoff until the last quarter, but in the end had to admit defeat to the hosts. For Sunday, the Prague offense is probably the biggest question mark. Jakub Wolesky will probably not be able to score points and his WR colleague Jan Stiegler is questionable. You concentrate on defense, says Special Teams coach Taylor Breitzman: “The Vikings are a very physical and well coached football team. They fly around and challenge you on defense and they have some dynamic players who create explosive plays on offense. We will have to match their physicality and try to eliminate the big plays for us to win. ”The guests desperately need offensive power against the Dacia Vikings, because DB Andrew Spencer has announced his return and is strengthening the already powerful bulwark around Leon Balogh, Luis Horvath and Alexander Watholowitsch.
