We have been complaining for so long that prices on the Czech market are no longer affordable, across all segments, until something finally started to happen in this regard. Anyone who was hoping for some sort of state intervention that would arrest the tipster of traders who were constantly increasing their margins at the expense of customers, would be disappointed. In the end, good old competition or a new offer had to solve everything.
It was already needed
In the past, new players were not very keen on the Czech market, because it was very well distributed and saturated. Now, however, an opportunity has arisen for new companies, because the Czech customer was already disgusted with what the domestic sellers were doing to him. And it doesn’t really matter if it’s a seller of food, sporting goods or even furniture. Everything is completely overpriced in the Czech Republic, and in such a way that everyone can already see it.
After all, it recently came to light that, for example, the Czech Ikea charges twice as much as in Poland for most items in its offer. When you buy a cabinet for tens of thousands of crowns, it’s simply a lot to know. Or there was the case of a customer who wanted to buy a toilet seat. In the Czech Republic, practically all shops offered it for 3 to 4 thousand crowns. But it was enough to look at the Polish online store, and the offers suddenly revolved around one thousand crowns. That’s already several times the differences.
And right now rescue is coming from Poland. Not that the Czechs were not already used to shopping there, for example, even the food they travel for. A number of e-shops operating in the Polish border area then began to localize their websites into Czech and ship goods to us as well.

Great offer and prices
But now comes a really big change. The Polish giant Allegro, which operates internationally and operates an internet marketplace of the same name, entered the domestic market. And he has already started a massive advertising campaign that attracts more and more customers. No wonder, the prices are really attractive and the range of goods is literally endless. There’s practically nothing you won’t find here. You can really buy everything here.
But the biggest advantage is mainly the low prices. The marketplace works in such a way that traders from different countries are involved in it, competing with each other in one place. This automatically pushes prices down, because anyone who bids too high won’t sell anything at all.
In the case of some items, such as furniture or clothing, the offers are extremely attractive. And although the goods will actually be sold to you by a small trader from Poland, everything is protected by a well-known brand that provides follow-up services and thanks to which you can rely on the store, because you will solve problems through it. Despite the fact that there is also a loyalty program and many other benefits.
