NIO will launch the Firefly brand in 2025

NIO has officially unveiled its third brand, Firefly, which is aimed at the compact premium car segment. The first model of the brand will be an electric car of the same name, and deliveries will begin in the first half of 2025. The official premiere is planned at the NIO Day event, which will take place on December 21, 2024.
Firefly will be an important addition to the NIO line, as MINI is to BMW. The new brand aims to expand the customer base and increase sales through the company’s current dealer networks.
NIO previously reported a 2.1% year-on-year decline in revenue for the third quarter of 2024 to 186.7 billion yuan. However, seasonal growth of 7% shows that the company is confidently moving forward, actively developing new directions.
