There have been rumors in the past about a so-called “Galaxy Fold Lite” model that would offer a cheaper bendable display compared to standard Fold mobiles, and now you can also hear of a similar device that will be part of the Galaxy A series. It is possible that the two phones are one and the same.
According to one leak, Samsung is working on a smartphone with a foldable display that will be housed within the Galaxy A series. No details are known about it yet, probably even the manufacturer has not finalized the specifications, but the biggest virtue of the device may be that it will be much cheaper than the current Z Fold and Z Flip models.
The Galaxy A mobile with a foldable display is not expected to arrive recently, Samsung is said to want to launch it sometime in 2024 or 2025. By then, the technology could become cheaper and a price tag of around $ 700 is conceivable. This is roughly HUF 250,000 at the moment, but obviously the exchange rate may change a lot in the meantime, and it may not be in a way that is favorable for us.
What can definitely be said is that bendable display devices will no longer be available to shoppers with an average budget. Within a few years, phones with this design will be among the mid-range offers.
