Jakarta – The era of electrification in Indonesia increasingly brings great hopes for transformation towards more environmentally friendly transportation. Many automotive manufacturers are trying to introduce electric vehicles, be they cars or motorbikes.
In fact, several manufacturers provide electric vehicle options at low prices under IDR 10 million. This is of course supported by subsidies from the Government.
At the Indonesia International Motor Show or IIMS 2024 exhibition, various electric motorbike brands were also celebrated, such as Polytron, Gesits, Alva, Greentech, Honda Astra Motor, and many more.
1. ZPT Megan Classic
The Megan Classic electric motorbike is launched by ZPT, a brand that is affiliated with VMove as a local electric motorbike company with a production base in Gresik, East Java.
The price tag is the cheapest at IIMS 2024, namely IDR 2.99 million. The specifications are quite concise, carrying four units of Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries with a capacity of 60v 20Ah.
The kitchen runway is handled by a Hub-drive type dynamo with a maximum power of 1,000 watts. The claimed speed is 40 kph and the cruising range on one full charge is 70 kilometers.
2. Greentech Unity
After receiving a government subsidy of IDR 7 million, the Greentech Unity type electric motorbike is priced at IDR 5.3 million OTR DKI Jakarta at the Indonesia International Motor Show or IIMS 2024.
This electric motorbike is equipped with a power capacity of 800 watts and uses a Lead Acid type battery, with a capacity of 60 V 32 Ah.
Present at IIMS 2024, Selis launched Neo Scootic, with a dynamo powered by 1,500 Watts and has a maximum speed of 50 km/hour and a distance of up to 40 km.
Normally, this electric motorbike is sold for IDR 16 million. However, after being subsidized by the Government, the price of the Neo Scootic became IDR 6.5 million OTR DKI Jakarta.
4. Greentech Aero
Another cheapest electric motorbike is the Greentech Aero. This electric motorbike is priced at IDR 6.9 million OTR DKI Jakarta after receiving subsidy assistance of IDR 7 million from the government, with an original price of IDR 13,900,000.
One of the main advantages of Greentech Aero is its 1000 watt electric motor. This motorbike is powered by a long-lasting 72V/32Ah lithium-ion battery, the Greentech Aero offers a mileage of up to 88 km on a single charge.
5. Selis E-Max
The Selis E-Max is one of the electric motorbikes on this list because the price offered is IDR 7.5 million after receiving government subsidies.
This electric motorbike is powered by a 1,200 Watt dynamo which is capable of traveling at a maximum speed of 55km/hour. This vehicle also has a range of up to 40 km.
6. Greentech VP
The last cheapest electric motorbike on this list is the Greentech VP because it is priced at IDR 7.5 million after receiving subsidies from the government.
Greentech VP is capable of covering a distance of 100 km. The maximum weight is 175 kg and the tire dimensions are 90/90 measuring 10 inches and is equipped with disc brakes.
Furthermore, this electric motorbike is equipped with a 72V32Ah KK Super Graphene battery which produces a maximum power of 1000 watts.
