“Affluent Americans Prefer Ordinary Cars: Survey”

According to a survey conducted by Experian Automotive and published in Forbes magazine, the top 2 percent of Americans with annual incomes of more than $250,000, 61 percent of them drive Hondas, Toyotas and Fords Cars, like ordinary people.

These three affordable brands occupy the top three places. If the eighth-ranked Hyundai Motor is included, the proportion of rich people who drive ordinary brand cars is much higher than that of luxury brand cars.

The study further noted that instead, 8 percent of those earning less than $100,000 own a luxury car. It’s interesting to compare these guys who might only make $50,000 a year and own a $60,000 car.
