Group B standings AFF Cup no change after Indonesian National team draw against Vietnam, Wednesday (15/12) night WIB. The following is the AFF Cup Group B standings.
The Indonesia vs Vietnam national team match was held at the Bishan Stadium, Singapore, on Wednesday (15/12) night WIB.
In this match, the Indonesian national team drew 0-0 against Vietnam. This result keeps the position of the Indonesian national team at the top of Group B with a score of seven points.
This result did not change Vietnam’s position from second in the Group B standings with a score of seven points, but lost on goal difference to Indonesia.
In the previous match, Cambodia managed to beat Laos with a landslide score of 3-0. Two Cambodian goals were contributed by Chan Vathanaka in the 31st and 41st minutes, and a goal from Sieng Chanthea in the 54th minute.
This victory made Cambodia pick up the first 3 points in the 2020 AFF Cup after losing to Malaysia (1-3) and Indonesia (2-4).
However, this additional three points did not make Cambodia’s position change from fourth in the Group B standings with a collection of three points from three matches.
Meanwhile, for Laos, this was their fourth defeat in Group B of the AFF Cup after losing to Vietnam (0-2), Malaysia (0-4), and Indonesia (1-5).
The Laos national team is getting worse and worse in the bottom position of the Group B standings and is certain to go home without getting a single point.
