In the federal election in 2017, AFD became the third largest party in Germany with 13 percent of the vote. According to the latest surveys, the party is down to 11 percent.
Therefore, almost 600 of the AFD’s members have gathered in Dresden for a party meeting, with the aim of shaking up a manifesto that can unite and lift the divided party just in time for the September 26 election.
