The 2023 Asian Cup will take place from 16 June to 16 July 2023. Qatar will host the 2023 Asian Cup to replace the retired China.
After China officially announced its retirement, Qatar, Korea, Indonesia and Australia expressed interest in hosting the 2023 Asian Cup. Australia then withdrew, leaving three countries as potential hosts for the Asian football party. until Qatar was subsequently designated as a host.
Reigning Asian Cup champion Qatar will host Asia’s largest football tournament for the third time after 1988 and 2011.
In the written statement, the AFC Executive Committee also conveyed a message of condolence to the relatives of the victims and to the PSSI for the tragedy that occurred in early October.
