Pre Show

It’s wednesday night, and you know what that means! Jim Ross welcomes us to today’s show, at his side as always Excalibur and Tony Schiavone. It’s already in the ring!

1. Match
Singles Match
Christian Cage wins against Matt Sydal via pin after the kill switch.
Match time: 09:14
– In this match, Taz commented with the tried and true trio.

After the match, the two opponents hug and shake hands. Taz promises both of them that they will have to pay soon. Ricky Starks comes out. He says that he still has a score to settle with Christian. The two are attacked from behind by the rest of Team Taz until “Hangman” Adam Page comes out, puts his drink in Starks’ hand and opens the safe, while Starks looks on in disbelief. In the end, however, the heels prevail, which Taz enthusiastically breaks out into applause. Starks takes a few sips from Page’s mug before commentators discuss the rest of today’s matchcard.

The Varsity Blondes are holding a promo. Pillman and Garrison say they are in All Elite Wrestling just because of the Young Bucks. But these have changed and would need a “reality check”. They will hand it out today and not give up until they are the champions.

Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley can also be seen in the video, Moxley is a little perplexed about their opponents. Kingston can enlighten him, one is a rapper, the other is the rapper’s friend. Moxley asks if they should take them to a super kick party, but Kingston remembers that neither of the two hands out super kicks. In the end, Mox doesn’t care either, they’ll just beat up The Acclaimed today.

Your opponents today, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens, are also pissed off. You can’t believe Moxley and Kingston want to be in their division. If you want to get to the top you would have to leave The Acclaimed behind first. And they would know how to prevent that. “Mic Drop!”

2. Match
Tag Team Match
Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston win against The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) via Pin Anthony Bowens through Jon Moxley after a wheelbarrow into Paradigm Shift.
Match time: 10:35
– When they moved in, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens once again gave a lot of verbal action, which led Moxley and Kingston to distribute the first punches a little earlier.

Alex Marvez asks Chris Jericho, who is talking to Dean Malenko, if the Inner Circle will accept the challenge for the Stadium Stampede Match. Jericho says that like everyone else, Marvez needs to be patient.

Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky are in the ring with Schiavone. Sky states that Sting was his hero when he was a child. But in the meantime a lot of time has passed and Sting is no longer the man he used to be. And Sky is no longer a child, but a grown man who gives him the tip to stop, otherwise he will take care of it. Page takes the microphone and is proud to have assisted Miro’s title win by throwing Darby Allin down the stairs the week before. Page promises him that he will be the last nail in his coffin. The lights go out and Sting comes out. In the next moment Darby Allin joins his skateboard and the two faces can handle Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. When the heels want to withdraw, six members of the Dark Order block the tunnels, leaving only the escape across the small arena.

The Pinnacle is having dinner together, Wardlow and a bottle of wine. MJF claims how funny Jericho is. But he is the one who laughs last. While Dax Harwood wants to add something, Shawn Spears beats up a waiter who probably didn’t bring the right drink.

3. Match
Singles Match
Hikaru Shida wins against Rebel, not Reba (w / Dr. Britt Baker, DMD) via submission in the Stretch Muffler.
Match time: 02:34

Immediately after the match ends, Hikaru Shida will be replaced by Dr. Britt Baker attacks. The challenger shows a stomp on the title belt, which she drops on Shida after a brief inspection.

There is video from last week when Kenny Omega and Don Callis went to Orange Cassidy to inquire about his injury status. Omega is only there as the EVP of All Elite Wrestling, who values Cassidy very much – but more as a mascot than a wrestler. Callis has a contract that could free him from the match due to his injury. He hands the contract to Cassidy, who tears it up in slow motion. If Cassidy was so dismembered by a top star, what will happen when he meets the “God of Pro-Wrestling”? It could end Cassidy’s career. Fortunately, Callis has the same contract with him, which Cassidy should at least have a look at. This ends the segment.

The Inner Circle is coming out. Ortiz opens the segment, he doesn’t want to talk anymore, he just wants to fight. Words that Sammy Guevara can only support. Jake Hager has his say. He doesn’t want to be a coward because the Inner Circle aren’t “school girl bitches” like The Pinnacle. Chris Jericho adds a few niceties before stating that he heard both the challenge and the stipulation that came with it. He says that falling from the cage was the worst moment of his life and that it gave everyone a real shock. Was it all worth it? Yes. Because now there is a fire burning in him, beating MJF over and over again, and they accept the challenge “1000%”. And should they lose, the Inner Circle dissolves. But that won’t happen. On “Double Or Nothing” they will kill The Pinnacle and piss on their graves.

Jade Cargill wanted to keep the same promo with Tony Schiavone during the day, but was interrupted by Mark Sterling. He states that he doesn’t want Cargill to work for him, but rather wants to work for her and help her take her brand to the top. Cargill promises to consider his offer, but advises him never to interrupt a segment of her again.

4. Match
NWA Women’s World Championship
Singles Match
Serena Deeb wins against Red Velvet via submission in the Serenity Lock.
Match time: 09:33

PAC stands with Alex Marvez and complains about being cheated time and again by AEW. Nevertheless, he will win the title at the upcoming PPV and he does not recommend anyone to bet against the “bastard”.

5. Match
Singles Match
Anthony Ogogo (w / The Factory) wins against Austin Gunn (w / Arn Anderson & Cody Rhodes) via referee stoppage after three liver hooks.
Match time: 02:12
– While Cody Rhodes was wrapped in a flag of the United States of America, Ogogo came out with a flag of Great Britain.

After the match, there is almost a confrontation between Rhodes and Ogogo, but can be nipped in the bud by additional referees.

Alex Marvez speaks to the former SCU. Christopher Daniels doesn’t want to answer a question. He shakes hands with Frankie Kazarian and leaves the interview. Kazarian speaks of a great loss, and he blames every other member of the elite, not the Young Bucks. Therefore, he will hunt down every single member of the group.

Sammy Guevara and his described signs are back while TNT is likely on a picture-in-picture break. He again hyped the meeting between the Inner Circle and The Pinnacle.

The newly crowned TNT champion Miro comes to the ring. He thanks Jesus for making him so strong that he can destroy everything and everyone. So he also took the title from Darby Allin. It’s just like this: if Miro wants something, he’ll get it. He will also defend his title at Dynamite next week (exceptionally on Fridays). Lance Archer joins them and promises to finally win the title. And he is very happy about Miro’s title win, because that way they can tear down the hut on “Double or Nothing”. And at the end of the day he’ll make Miro his Bulgarian b * tch. Miro replies that Archer is right about one thing – everyone dies at some point. But Miro will make sure that Archer is before him.

Moxley & Kingston quickly steal the Young Bucks’ shoes and socks before the show comes to an end with the matchcard for “Double or Nothing”.
