After recording a loss of 70 million euros in 2022, Aésio is accelerating its transformation plan. The third French mutual health insurance company unveiled to its staff representatives on Friday morning the concrete measures of its “momentum 2025” plan, which has been in preparation for several months. They include the elimination of around 400 posts and the non-renewal of around 200 fixed-term contracts. A severe slimming cure for the subsidiary of the Aéma group, which today has nearly 3,500 employees.
“After the legal merger, it is time for the operational merger, declares to ‘Echos’ its general manager Olivier Brenza, in reference to the merger of the regional mutuals Adréa, Apreva and Eovi-MCD which gave birth to Aésio in 2021. We are reviewing Aésio’s economic and industrial model. The portfolio of activities has evolved over the past fifteen years, turning more and more towards collective contracts. This implies a much more centralized and standardized organizational model. »
