A new day of strike and mobilization takes place this Tuesday, October 3 to demand real status and real recognition for the AESH.
In Seine-Saint-Denis, due to lack of sufficient recruitment, notifications are not respected and many students find themselves without AESH, as is the case for the PIAL in Montfermeil which only provides 50% of AESH needs. In some PIALs, AESH staff support up to 10 students.
Since the establishment of the PIALs, colleagues have changed assignments this fall to the detriment of educational continuity and the working conditions of AESH who find themselves with fragmented and too often modified schedules, changing assignments, replacements at short notice and the increase in the number of students to be supported with very varied disability situations.
SUD education 93 demands the abandonment of PIALs and the pooling policy, and demands a recruitment and training plan that meets the needs for Seine-Saint-Denis.
Finally, AESH continue to fight to have their right to retroactivity of the REP+ bonus recognized. SUD education 93 supports colleagues in these legal procedures and continues the fight for true recognition of the AESH profession. The transition to permanent contract after 3 years of seniority did not make it possible to depreciate the profession, especially in the conditions under which the permanent contracts were signed at the DSDEN of 93 with too little time to answer questions from staff and accompany them.
So that the inclusive school is not just a slogan SUD education 93 demands for the AESH a public service status, through the creation of a profession of specialized school educator, the recognition of a time full corresponding to 24 hours of support and significant salary increases, part of a general policy of increasing the lowest salaries.
This new day of strike shows the determination of AESH personnel to continue the struggle and calls for building a victorious mobilization.
