The Urola Kosta AECC cancer association will have the support of Zarautz pharmacies for the free distribution of therapeutic pillows for breast cancer patients. These pillows, handcrafted by volunteers, are part of this initiative that has been called ‘Bihotzez eginda-Made with a lot of heart’. With this new campaign in Gipuzkoa, AECC in Urola Kosta aims to value the work carried out by women’s groups and the volunteers who, in a totally altruistic way, have dedicated their time to making these heart-shaped pillows.
The 9 pharmacies in Zarautz have joined this campaign; They will be in charge of disseminating the service and the existence of this type of pillows and will put interested persons in direct contact with the AECC Gipuzkoa regional headquarters located in Zarautz. It is the first town in Gipuzkoa to launch this initiative.
