AECC Badajoz Offers Free Cotton Prostheses to Breast Cancer Patients

The Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Badajoz offers free cotton prostheses to patients undergoing mastectomies as a result of breast cancer.

The objective of this initiative is to help better cope with the disease and its consequences, including the social and mental barriers that can be generated by having undergone this surgical intervention due to the body asymmetry that mastectomy entails, which It can cause rejection when going out.
