It is noteworthy that Damir Gonezhuk, a student of Lyceum No. 34 of Maykop, was the first in the “double-double” indicator. In basketball, a double-double is a single-game performance in which a player scores ten or more points in two of the following five statistical categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. In fact, a double-double is an indicator of a player’s maximum utility coefficient.

Also, two players of the Maikop team entered the TOP -10 in terms of efficiency coefficient. Ilya Vlasov took second place in this ranking, and Damir Gonezhuk took third place.

Let us remind you that mass sports are actively developing in Adygea.

Thus, the head of the Republic of Armenia Murat Kumpilov expressed confidence that with an increase in the number of sports facilities, even more people will be involved in leading a healthy lifestyle, engaging in physical education and sports.

“By developing sports infrastructure, we are creating new places of attraction and encouraging active hobbies of our residents,” he emphasized.
