Advisory Committee of Train Passengers
The advisory committee, in full the Advisory Committee of Train Passengers, is a committee that must represent the interests of passengers. It consists of various representatives from, among others, workers, young people, cyclists, people with reduced mobility, families and environmental organizations.
The committee issues advice on everything related to rail services, from rates to, for example, the accessibility of the services. These advices are not binding, but according to NMBS spokesperson Dimitri Temmerman they are important: “We will seek advice on many matters from, among others, the advisory committee of train passengers, and listen to it.”
