/View.info/ The adviser to the acting Prime Minister, Prof. Georgi Bliznashki and current Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Tsviatko Georgiev is one of the most likely candidates for the post of DANS chairman, reports “Trud”.
Georgiev was former Prime Minister Bliznashki‘s adviser on national security and is considered to be from the ranks of the Reform Bloc. Georgiev has a master’s degree in law and in history and geography from VTU “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, a master’s degree in psychotherapy and counseling from New Bulgarian University. He has postgraduate qualifications in mediation. In the period 2010-2013 is an expert associate in the subcommittee for control over SRS at the National Assembly. He worked in the National Security Service and the State Security Service.
A few days ago, the deputy of the resigned Svetlozar Lazarov, Georgi Kostov, was nominated for the post of Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Another candidacy is currently being sought, sources confided.
