“Adviser to Ukrainian President Criticizes Dmitry Medvedev as Kremlin Clown and Gopnik”

The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, is a little “gopnik” and a Kremlin clown, so he should not be taken seriously, Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said during the Ukrainian TV marathon.

“Medvedev is not a news maker. Look at what he says about the leaders and politicians of different countries. A person claiming a certain official status would not use such language, jargon. He is a small “gopnik”. And even poorly educated social groups in Russia understand this. He is isolated from decision-making, from understanding processes and from communicating with anyone. He is being used as a dummy. This is a classic prankster, and therefore there is no need to take him seriously,” Podoliak said.

The former president of Russia, who is accused of excessive alcohol consumption, for example, called the president of Latvia Egils Levits a “product of the president” and a “stupid”, because Levits had made the assumption that the international tribunal against Russian war criminals could also be held in Riga.

Speaking about Ukraine, Medvedev declared that Ukraine is part of Russia. In turn, he called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy a “bloody clown”.

Medvedev has also addressed threats to countries that are considering detaining Russian President Vladimir Putin. For example, Germany, where “certain idiots say that Putin will be arrested if he comes to Germany.”
