The World Health Organization (WHO) has published a number of nutritional advice that should be followed by adults during the emerging acute coronary disease, “Covid-19”.

The food advice, published by the international organization, on its account in “Twitter”, came to the necessity of following a diet in eating, and avoiding a number of food and beverages, which may harm the injured person, which must be stopped immediately.

The tweet stated:

Nutritional advice for adults during “Covid 19” disease:

Drink 8-10 glasses of water every day in what you described as the “best option”, and eat fruits and vegetables that contain water and other drinks.

Avoid:

1- Eat large amounts of caffeine

2- Sweetened fruit juices

3- Fruit syrup

4- Fruit juice concentrates

5- Soft and refreshing drinks

The World Health Organization, advised to reduce salt consumption, for people with “corona” less than 5 grams (one teaspoon) per day, compared to the use of iodized salt.

The organization said it would be beneficial to reduce the individual’s intake of soft drinks, soda or other sugar-rich drinks.

She added that eating at home is necessary to reduce the rate of mixing with others and reduce the risk of developing #Covid_19 disease.

With many people visiting crowded places such as restaurants and cafes, it is not possible to know whether people wash their hands, and are surfaces cleaned and disinfected regularly enough in these places.

The organization gave advice on fat-containing foods to adults while they were afflicted with Covid 19, as follows:

Eat unsaturated fats
Do not eat saturated fats
