“In tax advice, we look after private individuals and businesses from small to large. Most mandates come from the region, from North Frisia and Schleswig-Flensburg, but also from all over the federal state. Regional wind farms, restaurateurs and craftsmen are there, for example, as well as Danish clients, since I also speak Danish, ”explains tax advisor Lasse Carstensen. He grew up in Niebüll, which is also the headquarters of STOHEMA’s tax and legal advisors and notaries. While studying business administration in Flensburg, Carstensen discovered that he has a weakness for laws – a rather unusual interest for young students, but exactly the right path for him. He completed his tax training in a tax advisor candidate course in Kiel and has since been preparing for the tax advisor exam at the weekends. “I look forward to working at STOHEMA, where I’ve been at home since 2016, every day,” says the hobby handball player with full conviction.

Lasse Carstensen prepares annual financial statements for his clients, takes care of the bookkeeping, accompanies self-employed people with the start-up of their company and supports them in all questions relating to German tax law. The 28-year-old has personally set himself the goal of advancing digitization in the law firm and living up to the law firm’s good reputation. STOHEMA has more than 80 employees and, in addition to Niebüll, is also represented on Sylt. For him, it’s the employees who make STOHEMA something special. “Every client is looked after competently here. We have an excellent age structure in the team, from young to old at least one tax advisor from every decade. In this way, we combine current knowledge from our studies with decades of practical experience. As a partner of the law firm, we are independent, but we also advise one another between colleagues, ”explains the Niebüller.
