CALTENBERG. The now traditional Adventroas will take place on Saturday 17 December at 6pm.
The old, traditional should remain, which is why the Kaltenberger Adventroas, well known beyond the borders, will take place this year. The one kilometer loop marked by fairy lights in the smallest village on the Mühlviertler Alm leads to a giant rock lantern, the giant Advent calendar in the windows of the elementary school, past the original chapel and back to the village center, where a crib craftsmanship adorns the town square. Food and drinks are offered at various stands along the route. “Live – love – shine” – under this motto, an attractive concert begins at 6.30 pm in the pilgrimage church. The granite voices will perform some songs, the young musicians from Kaltenberg will play under the direction of Jakob Hiemetsberger and the dialect poet Engelbert Lasinger will lead the program. The primary school children, together with their teachers, will beautify the church according to the motto. For the past 23 years, significant proceeds from this event have been given to local families who have been sidetracked by the tragedy or to institutions. Also this year the entire net proceeds will be donated.
