On Thursday, Expo Center Al Dhaid witnessed the official opening of the activities of the fifth edition of the “Adventure and Camping 2023” exhibition, which is organized by the center with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and under the supervision of Expo Center Sharjah, and continues until November 5, with the participation of more than 35 companies. And a selection of the most prominent brands specialized in the field of camping, land and sea trips.
The exhibition was opened by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Expo Center Sharjah, in the presence of Walid Bukhatir, Second Vice President of the Chamber, and a number of members of the Chamber, Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the Chamber, and Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah. Dr. Muhammad Abdullah bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Al Dhaid City, and Sultan Shattaf, Commercial Director at the Centre.
The attendees toured around the exhibition, where they viewed the exhibition pavilions and platforms, and listened to an explanation from the exhibitors about the new products and exhibits they are presenting in this edition. They also learned about the latest camping products and equipment, accessories and supplies for land trips, in addition to safety and security devices for camping, equipment and supplies. Supporting the tourism sector
Abdullah Sultan Al Owais stressed the Sharjah Chamber’s keenness to continue organizing exhibitions and specialized events in the central and eastern regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, with the aim of developing the role of the exhibition sector in supporting various economic, commercial and tourism sectors, and contributing to enhancing the economic development process witnessed by the two regions, especially in light of the importance of the exhibition. “Adventures and Camping”, and its role in supporting the tourism sector, one of the most important economic resources in the emirate, by highlighting the tourist areas suitable for camping and safaris, and attracting new visitors to the central region, which is rich in many distinguished archaeological and tourist sites. For his part, Saif Mohammed Al Midfa pointed out that the “Adventures and Camping” exhibition has succeeded in securing an important place for it among the list of exhibitions witnessed by the Expo Center Al Dhaid, and has become one of the most prominent events specialized in camping and trips at the level of the country and the region, especially in light of the keenness to provide all requirements. The success of the exhibition, through attracting the most important and famous companies specialized in the field of camping and trips, with the aim of providing a diverse shopping experience to visitors, allowing them to learn about new goods, and see the latest camping and wilderness equipment and supplies and accessories to meet all their needs, especially since the holding of the exhibition activities coincided with Moderate weather and the beginning of the camping season. The exhibition’s pavilions and platforms witnessed a large turnout of visitors, who came to see the diverse display of a range of camping equipment and accessories, safari supplies, hunting and shooting supplies, and diving equipment, amid attractive prices and attractive discounts that appealed to lovers of adventures and land and sea trips, while the stands of entities specialized in the field of bicycle manufacturing enjoyed Motorcycles and four-wheel drive vehicles were admired by visitors, especially young people, with the live demonstrations of vehicles and four-wheel drive bikes, with the aim of getting to know the quality of these vehicles.
The exhibition enjoys diverse participation, including companies specialized in travel trailers, mobile homes, and safety and security devices required for camping, in addition to sectors operating in transportation for trips, such as motorcycles and quad bikes, companies providing land and sea sports supplies, and hunting and shooting equipment.
