Samsung has just officially launched the Galaxy S22 series 5G at the Galaxy Unpacked online event, Wednesday (9/2). In this series, Samsung offers every feature of the previous Galaxy line of devices, complete with additional features that make the Galaxy S22 5G, S22+ 5G, and S22 Ultra 5G, S series the best.
In addition to carrying a premium design to a capable camera, the Galaxy S22 series 5G is equipped with support for updating the Android operating system for up to four generations for the most up to date and secure experience. Through this technology, the Galaxy S22 series 5G will get operating system updates up to four times and security updates for five years.
Galaxy S22 series 5G that launch with Android 12 later will get Android 13, Android 14, Android 15, and Android 16 updates. With Android 16, Galaxy S22 5G will still receive security updates for another year before being discontinued.
As a result, Galaxy S22 series 5G users can now have access to the latest features for better security, productivity and usability. Users can also enjoy a longer device lifespan without missing out on the latest security patches and other exciting new features.
In addition to the Galaxy S22 series 5G, this technology is also embedded in certain Galaxy S series smartphones, Z series and A series, as well as tablets. Samsung is also providing an upgrade of up to four years to the One UI Watch and Wear OS Powered by Samsung, to ensure users can enjoy the latest Galaxy Watch experience.
Not to forget, the Galaxy S22 series 5G is also protected with the advanced Samsung Knox Vault security platform. This feature provides more secure protection against potential security threats. Including processor and memory security that completely isolates sensitive data such as passwords, biometrics, to Blockchain access from the device’s main operating system.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S22 Series 5G also introduces new security features, such as ARM microarchitecture. This feature can prevent cyberattacks targeting the operating system and memory.
The three Samsung Galaxy S22 Series 5G phones are currently available in the country, and can be obtained by pre-order from February 9, 2022 to March 3, 2022 at www.samsung.com/id.
The Galaxy S22 5G and S22+ 5G are available in four color variants namely, Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green, and Pink Gold with 128GB and 256GB memory options and 8GB RAM options. The Galaxy S22 5G is priced starting at IDR 11,999,000 and the Galaxy S22 + 5G starting at IDR 14,999,000.
While the S22 Ultra 5G is sold at a starting price of IDR 17,999,000 with 8G and 12GB RAM options and 128GB, 256GB and 512GB memory options. With a variety of premium and timeless color choices, namely, Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green, and Burgundy.
