In about a year, the Freiburg branch of the law firm Advant Beiten has almost doubled the number of employees. Among other things, the need for advice is high when it comes to company successions.
The Freiburg branch of the law firm Advant Beiten, which was founded just a year ago, is on a growth course. As partner Barbara Mayer told the BZ, 51 people currently work for the law firm in Breisgau – 15 of them lawyers. In August last year, the company started with 26 employees – ten of them lawyers. By the turn of the year there should be 55 employees. This should include 17 lawyers.
Mayer explains the growth by saying that the law firm, which advises and legally represents medium-sized companies, their managers and owners, is becoming better known in the region. For example, there is a high need for advice on company successions or in the area of investments by medium-sized companies in start-ups. The average age of lawyers in Freiburg is 35, says law firm manager Bruno Flashar. The young team attracts other young legal specialists, which is why Advant Beiten has a good chance of finding excellent young professionals in the region.
