On Paths of Educational Victories, from the National Technological Institute (INATEC) We ended the first semester of the year with good results, contributing to the socio-productive development of Nicaraguan families and in the fight against poverty.
The right to free education has been restored to 210,595 protagonists in careers and technical courses, 70% of progress of what was programmed in the year, of which 71% are women, broken down as follows:
—37,681 students in 67 technical careers, of these 8, are also taught in virtual mode.
—30,816 protagonists in the Trade Schools and Field Schools.
—71,983 protagonists in English language courses, tics and free courses.
—3,612 new teachers of technical careers and in didactics of the English language.
—66,503 women from the Zero Usury Program.
We advance in Routes of More Educational Victories in innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, teacher training and training in values:
—558 project ideas linked to the realities and needs of different productive sectors, developed by students and teachers of technical careers since the INNOVATEC national conference, 308 more projects presented in relation to the year 2020.
—From the Technological Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, digital entrepreneurs have been served, strengthening skills and learning in technology, innovation and digital business model. Likewise, 2,000 young people participate in creative workshops within the framework of the call for the 5th edition of Hackathon Nicaragua 2021.
—From the National Center for the Training of Technical Education Teachers, 2,397 new teachers of technical careers and 1,215 teachers of primary, secondary and technical careers are trained as Specialist in Didactics of the English Language. This year, we conquered a new Educational Victory with the first graduation of Specialist Teachers in Didactics of the English Language.
—Integration of 80 teachers in the Network of Educational Researchers of Nicaragua of the Educational Sub-Systems. Likewise, 23 educational investigations in the process of presentation and publication, significantly transcending the relevant task of investigating, writing and publishing the advances of technical education in Nicaragua.
—As part of the process of continuous improvement of Technical Education and Training, we advanced in the design of 77 new courses and updating of 15 careers, strengthening the model of articulation and complementarity with the productive sector.
—We continue to promote spaces for reflection and mobilization of more than 37 thousand technical students in actions to prevent drug use, promotion of a Culture of Peace, non-violence and respect for Life, linking art, culture, sports, and the use of technology, etc.
We keep changing Nicaragua, with new infrastructure projects, updating of technological equipment and online services.
—Improving the infrastructure of educational environments, technological and didactic equipment in 38 technical centers of the departments of Nueva Segovia, Madriz, Estelí, Chinandega, León, Managua, Masaya, Granada, Rivas, Matagalpa, Jinotega, Chontales, Rio San Juan, Zelaya Central, RACCN and RACCS, with an investment of C $ 260 million córdobas.
—11 new online services were created, going from 28 to 39 services, bringing together and streamlining the academic, administrative and management services of the educational community.
