Advanced Indonesian Village Volunteers (RDIM) provides support to Gibran Rakabuming Raka as Prabowo Subianto’s vice presidential candidate (Cawapres). According to them, Prabowo-Gibran is a deadly duet.
“We all hope that Mas Gibran can continue the struggle of President Jokowi who will become vice president of Indonesia in 2024,” said the chairman of the Advanced Indonesia Village Volunteers, Fikri El Aziz at the Proclamation Monument, Central Jakarta, Saturday (21/10/2023).
Fikri also explained his reasons for giving support to the Mayor of Solo. According to him, Gibran is one of the youth figures who is currently active in the world of politics.
“Today we know that the presidential election contestation has entered registration. Two candidate pairs have registered and there are no young people who can complete the leadership. Today we know that in today’s world there are lots of young leaders. Yesterday the new President of Ecuador was elected at the age of 35 years,” said Fikri.
Fikri called Prabowo-Gibran a deadly duet in the 2024 presidential election contest. The duet is a combination of leadership and contribution.
“And with this vibrant democracy, we hope that we can complete the third contestant in this presidential election with the deadly duet of Mr. Prabowo and Mas Gibran, one of whom is very mature in leadership and even though he is also a brand as Mayor of Solo, we know that he has also made a lot of extraordinary contributions and in our opinion Mas Gibran’s volunteers deserve to be given the opportunity,” he concluded.
