Advance sales for the Women’s EURO 2025 have opened on the Jungfraujoch
On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, former and current footballers from the Swiss national team and a selection of European players competed in an exhibition match on the Jungfraujoch. The exclusive event was accompanied by the start of ticket sales for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 in Switzerland and the recruitment of helpers.

In 2007, he initiated a major event on the Jungfraujoch for the first time with the kickoff for the 2008 men’s Euro. “We have now held over 20 such events up here at 3,454 meters above sea level, for example with NBA star Tony Parker, the Klitschko brothers, tennis ace Roger Federer, the Northern Irish professional golfer Rory McIlroy and the Chinese star pianist Lang Lang.” .
The kickoff served both to launch ticket sales and to start recruiting volunteers for next year’s tournament. The UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, which will take place from July 2nd to 27th, 2025, will be held in eight different cities in Switzerland, including Thun. «I am pleased that we can give the starting signal for the UEFA Women’s European Championship 2025 with this exclusive game.
