Advance is pushed out by Brio, Wuling Air Ev outruns Stargazer

Jakarta

The Honda Brio became the best-selling car in the period of October 2022. The Indonesian Automobile Industries Association (Gaikindo) noted that during the 10th month, the wholesale sales of Brio for both RS and Satya models reached the 5,601 units.

The Toyota Avanza, which often wins the throne of the best-selling cars, in October 2022 must be willing to be undermined by two positions at the same time. The Low MPV, dubbed the car of a million people, had sales of just 4,958 units in October, 49 units less than the second-place Toyota Rush.

The Avanza is also seen to be closely matched by the Toyota Calya. Toyota Calya sales in October reached 4,913 units. Continuing in fourth place is the Mitsubishi Xpander (including Xpander Cross). The set of modifications made to the Xpander Cross managed to boost sales of the flagship MPV from Mitsubishi.

Among the ranks of petrol cars for sale, the Wuling Air Ev is once again giving a surprise. From a row of 20 best-selling cars in Indonesia, Wuling once again put the Air Ev on the list in October.

This is the second month that Wuling Air Ev occupies the best-selling car range. This October, Wuling’s position has risen three degrees. If in September Air Ev was in 20th place, it is now in 17th. Interestingly, even though it is powered by electricity, the Air EV is also the best-selling among other car models presented by Wuling for the people of Indonesia.
