Celebrities, famous actors and singers, and showmen in general, are always talked about for their lifestyle off the stage. And so travel, holidays, houses and especially cars are often under the critical eye of fans and the world of gossip. Today we are dealing with Adriano Celentano, the legendary Molleggiato who has been able to entertain numerous generations managing to renew himself without ever distorting his own identity. The boy from via Gluck aroused the interest of Pier Paolo Pasolini, who planned to make a film from the story of the song performed by Celentano, to develop the aspect of urban civilization that was destroying peasant culture. The director and Celentano met often, but the project did not go through.

All his commitment to the environment and ecology began with these verses, and since then the singer and showman has demonstrated an activism unmatched in the jetset scene.
However, the example he sets in small things does not seem to be in line with the preaching he does from his pulpit. Also, it’s not a matter of economics, but he drives around in a Euro 0 car.
But the most surprising thing is that Celentano uses a car that is now almost vintage for his travels, that is a 1995 Mercedes s600. This just isn’t it a highly polluting car because it predates the Euro regulations (it is in practice a Euro 0)but it is also equipped with a powerful 6.0 liter engine which certainly produces much more CO2 and pollutants of a normal 2.0 liter of the same era.. But he doesn’t drive around in an old car because he can’t afford a new one, that’s not quite the case.
He could buy any car, even a Bentley or a Ferrari. Celentano has earned millions (and billions of lire in the past) in his long-lasting multifaceted career as a singer, actor and showman. Molleggiato would therefore have no problem replacing his car, which we understand he is certainly fond of, with an equivalent but much less polluting, perhaps hybrid or fully electric. Certainly Mercedes-Benz would also be happy to supply it to you.
