The film How Poets Lose Illusions is a continuation of the first part entitled How the World Loses Poets. Dušan Klein took over the direction again, who also participated in the script with Ladislav Pecháček. One of the main roles was given to Adriana Tarábková, who played Jeskyňka. As reported by the Dotyk website, she still receives film offers from time to time, but this world no longer appeals to her.
The film stars Pavel Kříž, David Matásek, Míla Myslíková, Josef Somr or Francis Filipovsky. The main character is the poet Štěpán Šafránek, who is accepted to medicine and becomes a first-year student.
But the beginnings are not easy. Safranek didn’t do well with the docent of anatomy, and he also received a wedding invitation from Borůvka. At the same time, however, she gains new roommates, among whom is the self-confident Honza Antoš, who has a great photographic memory. But also Moravák Venoš, who has a rich supply of provisions, and also Numira Cassou Thomb, whom they begin to call Mireček.
Štěpán tries to pursue all his obligations – studies, works and writes poetry. Love gets entangled in all of this, when the Cave Girl messes up his head. But the anatomy exam and the hostile docent Sejkora remain a big scare for him.
The medical student was played by Slovak actress Adriana Tarábková. Although she won the hearts of the audience as Jeskynka, in the end she prioritized her family instead of a film career and withdrew from public life.
However, he has beautiful roles to his credit. For example, Princess Anna, whom she played alongside the girl’s heartbreaker Lukáš Vaculík in the fairy tale The king shakes his chin. Viewers can also remember her family film Kačenka and again the ghosts, where she played the teacher Waltraud, called Wali.
She moved from acting to business and started a company with her husband and Slovan Bratislava official Zden Roman. “Zden and I grew up together and learned to be responsible. He’s my best friend,” he quoted her as saying web Kafe.
