Adrián San Miguel bets on his continuity at Liverpool

London, Apr 4 (EFE) .- Adrián San Miguel, Liverpool goalkeeper, is committed to continuing at Liverpool beyond June 30, when his contract with the English team ends.

The Spanish goal, before the quarter-final tie against Real Madrid, reflected on his future in a conversation with Efe and left the door open to continue wearing the Liverpool shirt.

“I am happy here. The first year was historic and memorable and it is true that this second season has been more irregular and also personally,” said the goalkeeper.

“We are in talks with the club and they let me see that they are happy with me. Between now and the end of the season a decision will be made that satisfies both parties.”

Regarding the possibility of leaving, if an agreement is not reached with Liverpool, San Miguel pointed out that his priority is “to be happy and enjoy this profession.”

“We have many things to talk about and I hope they can be solved, because I am happy here and the family is adapted to the city. I hope everything has a nice ending,” added the Spanish goalkeeper.

San Miguel arrived at Liverpool in 2019, from West Ham United and with the ‘Reds’ he has conquered a Premier League, a Club World Cup and a European Super Cup in which he started and starred in the penalty shoot-out that gave the title to the English.
