The whole of Holland was able to see on Tuesday night in ‘Ik Vertrek’ how Adriaan and Barbara de Boer left for Spain to build a refuge there for peace seekers who thought freely. The recordings were actually completed some time ago, so broadcaster AVROROS asked how Adriaan, Barbara and their daughter Hailey are doing now.
“We are very grateful for the peace here”
The family is doing ‘very well’, as can be read on the AVROROS website. “The first retreats and training courses have been successful and people with campers are also getting to know us more and more. The online training courses are going really well.”
Adriaan and Barbara are able to get used to life in Spain. “Especially on top of our mountain. Of course, when we’re in Holland or on vacation, we can’t wait to come home to peace and quiet. Right place.”
The couple is currently busy creating a real food forest and water supply. “So that we can finally do this completely off the grid could,” they explained.
The girl Hailey is already starting to be a ‘real girl’. The girl likes to talk and she also likes to go out. Adriaan and Barbara do not miss their own country. Or well, a little. “The peanut butter is much tastier in Holland, so we always bring it back!”
