A trip to the gambling metropolis of Las Vegas with extensive casino tours, a diverse sightseeing program and first-class entertainment – this dream has now become reality for seven slot machine fans.
From October 7th to 11th, adp Merkur traveled to the southwest of the USA with selected slot specialists as part of its game scout campaign to find and test the latest trends in the international gaming industry in an impressive setting.
“Exchange with open-minded and inquisitive game experts”
“Our goal is to continually set new, exciting and needs-based accents in our games portfolio. This is achieved primarily through exchanges with open-minded and inquisitive game experts,” explains Tobias Sielermann, product manager at adp Merkur. “Las Vegas offered the ideal setting to get to know the international gaming world and to enter into dialogue with the participants about new and innovative gaming ideas.”
Around 2,000 gaming fans from all over Germany took part in the application process, in which they had to demonstrate their knowledge of slot machines. Seven players managed to prevail against their opponents and qualify for the trip to the USA. “Las Vegas is an absolute must for every slot fan and has been a big dream for me for a long time. The fact that this has now come true thanks to adp Merkur’s game scout campaign still leaves me speechless,” sums up game scout Sascha Rothacker.
Exciting and varied supporting program
An exciting and varied supporting program awaited the participants on site. In addition to the tour of the Stratosphere Tower, a detour on historic Fremont Street downtown and visits to the industry’s leading trade fair G2E and the “Criss Angel Mindfreak Show”, there was one thing in particular on the trip’s list of activities: tours through the impressive casino world of Las Vegas Boulevard . The resorts on the Strip are particularly characterized by their first-class and diverse range of gambling options and are therefore considered an extremely popular destination for gambling enthusiasts from all over the world. “It was incredibly exciting to explore the special features of American gambling, to discover the almost countless casinos and to try out devices and games that cannot be found in this form in Germany,” explains games expert Sophia Nierhoff.
“Implement new innovative game ideas”
Product manager Tobias Sielermann also gave a positive summary of the game scout trip: “The Las Vegas week was a complete success. We gained valuable impressions in the casinos on the Strip and downtown and were able to have extensive and meaningful conversations with our gaming scouts. I am sure that the insights derived from this will help to implement new, innovative game ideas and thus be able to offer an even more varied portfolio in the future.”
