Although Celentano, who is 85 years old, has given up active concert activity, fans of his talent still have the opportunity to enjoy his work “live”. Adolfo Sebastiani, the official double of the popular Italian, will perform on March 26, 2024 in Riga, in the Great Guild, on March 27 in Liepāja and on March 30 in the Daugavpils Palace of Culture.

Adriano Celentano can certainly be called one of the symbols of modern Italy. At the beginning of the 70s, Adriano recorded a composition called “Prisencolinensinainciusol”, the text of which was made up of made-up words that do not mean anything. In this way, the singer wanted to show the disagreement of people. The song was performed as a recitative and became one of the musician’s first rap experiments. By the way, “Prisenkolinensinainciusol” topped the European charts for a long time and even entered the American charts. In some of his other songs, Celentano used several times his self-invented “Celentanesque” language, a peculiar mixture of Italian and English.
Throughout his career, Adriano recorded more than 600 songs and more than 30 albums. Celentano’s hits like “Susanna”, “Amore No”, “Il Tempo Se Ne Va”, “Soli”, “Azzurro”, “Una Festa Sui Prati”, “Ciao Ragazzi” and many others conquered the whole world.
He met his wife, actress Claudia Mori, on the set of “Some Strange Guy”. At that time, she was not yet 20 years old – she was six years younger than Adriano. He immediately started flirting with the girl and asked her out, but Claudia was put off by his rather shocking behavior, his reputation as a hooligan and a hooligan. But the result is that the couple has been together for 56 years. Over the years, Claudia has become not only a wife and mother, but also a true mentor to Adriano. She was involved in creating his image, was a producer and muse. She is also the director of the family recording studio “Clan Celentano”. Adriano and Claudia have three children – son Giacomo and daughters Rosita and Rosalind. All three have followed in their parents’ footsteps. Rosita has acted in movies and is now a radio host. Giacomo is an actor and singer. Rosalind is an actress and artist.
Adriano continues to make music. In 2019, he released the music album “Adrian”, which included the soundtracks for his new work of art, the animated series “Adrian”, drawn in a cyberpunk style. Celentano acted as the project’s director, producer and screenwriter. However, the stage legend stopped his active concert activity, especially outside Italy, because he suffers from aerophobia – the fear of flying in an airplane.
