“Adolf Hitler’s Silver Pencil from Eva Braun Up for Auction in Northern Ireland”

In Northern Ireland, Adolf Hitler’s silver pencil, presented to him by his girlfriend (later wife) Eva Braun, will be sold at auction.

It is noted that the item with an inscription in German, which has the word “Eva” and the initials “AH” (Adolf Hitler) will go under the hammer at an auction in Belfast on June 6.

A pencil once owned by the leader of the Third Reich could sell for £80,000 (roughly NIS 358,000).

It is believed that Hitler received this present on his birthday on April 20, 1941. A collector bought a Hitler pencil at an auction in 2002. It will now be put up by Bloomfield Auctions.

Auction participants will also be able to purchase an original autographed photograph of Hitler, his crystal champagne glasses and many other military artifacts.

Other lots include a rare handwritten pardon by Queen Victoria issued in 1869 to Irish rebels convicted of treason.

As Cursor reported, after criticizing the authorities’ plans to turn Hitler’s house into a police station, Austria decided to hold human rights seminars for police officers there. Previously, it was planned to turn this house into a police station, but this proposal was criticized by civil society organizations.

The house where Hitler lived as a child was nationalized by the Austrian government in December 2016. The building was formerly the Pomeranian Hotel and was used as a cultural center during World War II. Currently, it is considered an architectural monument of the 17th century and is protected by law.
