Adobe has launched a new experimental project called Project Music GenAI Control, which uses generative artificial intelligence to edit and create music from text prompts. Also, it allows you to later edit the generated clips.
As reported by El Español, Nicholas Bryan, scientific researcher at Adobe Research, states that this artificial intelligence will work as a collaborator to assist users in creating music tailored to their projects. And the main beneficiaries of this tool include broadcasters, content creators and other users who require personalized audio.

How to use Project Music GenAI Control?
As explained by Adobe in a statement on its blog, to start audio creation, users will only need to enter a text message describing the type of audio they want to generate such as “powerful rock” or “melancholic jazz.”
Once the audio is generated, the user will be able to modify the speed, organization and repeat the elements of the musical composition until they create exactly the melody they want.
Now, the platform stands out not only for its ability to create audio, but also enhances work opportunities at a Photoshop level. “It gives creatives the same kind of deep control to shape, adjust and edit their audio. It is a kind of pixel-level control for music,” said Nicholas Bryan, who is one of the creators of this technology.
At the moment, Project Music GenAI Control is an experimental work so it is not known when it will be deployed or how.
