ADO The Hague and Robert Zwinkels remain inseparable. The 37-year-old goalkeeper continues at the club for another year.
Zwinkels signed an indefinite contract in The Hague at the beginning of 2018, with the intention to continue until at least 1 July 2020. Club and player have now reached an agreement to stick to it for at least one more season.
“I feel fine and the fire has not yet gone out,” Zwinkels responds on the ADO website. “In addition, I still have a lot of drive and desire to play football. You can only stop once, so I will continue to have fun.”
The experienced goalkeeper is the longest serving player at the same club in the Eredivisie. He has been under contract with ADO since 2005 and is therefore entering his sixteenth season. He has stood in 172 official games so far.
Zw️ Robert Zwinkels extends his stay at ADO Den Haag by one year and will start his 16th season at the club next season.
