ADNOC Professional League Referees Conclude FIFA Refreshment Training Course for Enhanced Performance

Dubai, October 13 / WAM / The refresher training course for ADNOC Professional League referees, organized by the Football Association in cooperation with FIFA, concluded yesterday, Thursday, from October 9 to 12.
On the closing day of the course, Salem Ali Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Referees Committee, thanked the International Federation’s lecturers, Massimo Busacca, Director of the Referees’ Department at the International Federation of Football, Jorge Larrionda, and the local lecturers for their great efforts during the theoretical and practical lectures in the course.
Al Shamsi stressed the importance of continued cooperation between the Football Association and FIFA, which aims to develop the performance of stadium judges.
He explained that such tournaments contribute to achieving a set of goals, most notably participating in the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup competitions, which are organized by the Continental Football Confederation during the current season, and selecting an Emirati arbitration team for the Asian Cup “Qatar 2023,” in addition to selecting the International Federation of Association Football Associations.
