ADNOC Professional Football League Clubs Prepare for Summer Transfer Deadline

Abu Dhabi, September 18 / WAM / With the closing date of the summer transfer period for the UAE League approaching, ADNOC Professional Football League clubs have intensified their preparations to supplement their ranks with more contracts, to rearrange the papers before the competition resumes next Saturday with the third round competitions.
The past few days have witnessed remarkable activity for a number of league clubs, before the Mercato closes next Thursday, with more contracts, whether by free transfer or loan. The most prominent was the Kalba Ittihad team, with its contract with Caio Eduardo and Gustavo Self from Shabab Al-Ahly, and Al-Wahda’s contract with Sultan Al-Zaabi, coming. Also from Shabab Al-Ahly.
In a heavy-caliber deal, the newly promoted Emirates Club announced the inclusion of Spaniard Paco Alcacer on loan from Sharjah to play for the team alongside his compatriot Andre Iniesta, whom the club’s management recently signed contracts with.
Hatta Club signed Kaikwe Soares and Khaled Al-Asbahi from Shabab Al-Ahly on loan. Ajman also signed Mohamed Jaber from Al-Wasl, and Khor Fakkan included Shaheen Surour from Baniyas, and Thulani Serero, the former Al-Jazira midfielder, on a free transfer.
Sharjah also renewed its contract with Luan Pereira until 2027, and Al-Bataeh announced the renewal of its contract with Ahmed Khalil.

Al Jazira also signed Neeskens Kebano, Alejandro Pozuelo, Shaheen van Bohemen, Karim Raqiq, and Fernando, Al Wahda signed Ahmed Nour Allah and Christian Guanca, Al Wasl regained player Caio Canedo from Al Ain, and also signed Alexis Perez, Nicolas Jimenez, Daniel Pedrozo, and Haris Seferovic. .
Sports analyst Ahmed Hammad said that many clubs prefer to complete contracts at the last minute to negotiate the inclusion of players at the lowest price, and this is normal in order to obtain more financial gains.
He explained that the current Mercato deals herald a strong season, in light of the increase in the number of foreign players registered, whether as foreign or resident players, which gives the technical staff multiple options and the involvement of the best players.
He added that there are clubs that have a surplus of players and are working to loan them to other clubs to give them the opportunity to participate instead of waiting on the bench.
