ADNOC Logistics and Services has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction services contract for a project to build an artificial island in Abu Dhabi, worth 3.59 billion dirhams.

ADNOC Services stated that the contract is its first after expanding its logistics services and listing it on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange.

According to the contract, ADNOC Services will carry out dredging, land reclamation and construction of marine facilities for the artificial G island in the “lower zakom” offshore field.

At least 75% of the contract value will be redirected to the local economy through the ADNOC In-Country Value programme.
