Al Hashemi pointed out that the agreements signed by ADNOC this year during the “Make in the UAE” forum contributed to supporting growth, development and economic diversification in the UAE. Regarding how local manufacturing contributes to achieving ADNOC’s goal of climate neutrality by 2045; Dr. Saleh Al Hashemi said: Investing in the local industry will enable us to significantly reduce carbon emissions from our purchasing chain, while importing international products requires significant energy consumption through transportation and logistics, which leads to the generation of significant carbon dioxide emissions. He explained that ADNOC has developed an illustrated guide that includes the products that will be supplied locally.
