Although the 27-year-old motorcyclist’s condition is stable, he needs blood.

Relatives of Adrien Lafleur made a call for blood donation on social networks.

Contacted, the victim’s sister explains that the young man lost a lot of blood in the accident which occurred shortly after midnight on the night of Saturday March 5 to Sunday March 6 in front of Victoria Hospital in Candos.

On the day of the incident, Adrien Lafleur, a Panarottis employee at So Flo, was driving a colleague home to Quatre-Bornes.

The young man’s motorcycle collided with a BMW in front of the hospital grounds. The impact was such that the pilot and his passenger behind were violently thrown to the ground.

Seriously injured, the two victims were transported to hospital and admitted in emergency.

In the meantime, the driver reportedly fled the scene of the accident, leaving his vehicle behind.

However, a young man living in Curepipe reportedly went to the police station around 3 a.m. claiming that he was driving the car involved in the accident.

After being interviewed by the police, he was allowed to return to his home. He should be heard again aware of the investigation initiated to shed light on the circumstances of the accident.

A witness, whose car was also involved in this accident, was heard by the police. Like the other two vehicles, his car was also severely damaged.

By viewing the CCTV cameras in the area, the police discovered that around 8:30 p.m. that same evening, a young woman was driving the BMW, we learn.
