Admission to the police: 4,565 forgers unmasked Admission to the police: 4,565 forgers unmasked

Libreville, Tuesday February 21, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – These candidates are rejected for false birth certificates, false diplomas and usurpation of Gabonese nationality.

4,565 counterfeiters have just been stopped dead at the gates of the Gabonese national police. A press release from the high command of this body published this Monday reports that these candidates were rejected due to false birth certificates, false diplomas and usurpation of Gabonese nationality. Out of a total of 6,206 admitted to the competition organized on September 9, 2023, only 1,642 applications were declared admissible. Initially, 17,771 candidates were registered for this competition. Other people were rejected for criminal records or behavior incompatible with this function.

It appears from the results published last weekend that 1,328 candidates were declared admitted in the category of non-commissioned officers and 1,204 for future officers. 468 new admissions would be missing. “To fill this gap, the High Command has decided to select certain candidates on the basis of the marks obtained at the end of the written tests. This process is underway with a view to constituting the 3rd contingent. The selected candidates will also be subject to the morality investigation and medical examinations,” underlines a police press release. “Calls for demonstrations launched on social networks to contest the results of the competition could constitute a disturbance of public order and the authors prosecuted in accordance with the laws in force,” warns the text.
