Admission chaos annoys fans – “just disappointing”

The reggae festival “Summer-Jam” at the Fühlinger See in Cologne takes place again after two years. But right from the start, fans had to bring a lot of patience with them.

The displeasure of the visitors of one of the largest reggae festivals in Europe is great. After two years, many were looking forward to the “Summerjam” at the Fühlinger See in Cologne. But on the very first day there were major problems getting in. As the “Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger” reports, there were problems handing out the festival wristbands at the entrance.

The result was long queues. The organizers did not expect such a large rush of festival visitors, the organizers said on Friday. Similar to various airports, these would struggle with staff shortages.

Cologne: Visitors miss most of the acts

The dissatisfaction of the visitors erupted above all in the social networks. There, fans were annoyed that they had missed many acts. You would have queued for an hour and a half to pick up your wristband. Another visitor expresses her disappointment on Facebook.

“If you still have to wait in line at the gates in a line full of people with a ticket after 3 hours, your heart bleeds. It’s a shame for the great artists who deserve their audience and even sadder for the fans,” writes you. The organizers have since apologized, with the promise that there will be no such queues on the coming days of the festival.
