It would result in a much faster vaccination campaign if the second shot of vaccination was postponed. With the currently available amount, care can then be relieved much faster, because a larger part of society is protected against severe corona.
Several experts argue in favor of this approach: vaccinate everyone with one shot now, and only start with the second in a while. If necessary.
