A win would mark the 27-year-old American’s first professional victory since the ShopRite LPGA Classic in 2019.
Tournament headliner and world number four Nelly Korda (67), who was another to put her authority on the Ferry Point Links, is just one behind. Her round included four birdies and an eagle to finish seven under par.
