ADIPEC 2022 will kick off Monday in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 40 ministers and 38 CEOs, who join the elite of the most important policy makers and industry leaders, discussing the challenges facing the energy sector. ADIPEC 2022 will see the participation of 160 countries with the participation of 28 international pavilions, to be the largest and most comprehensive energy forum in the world and confirm its pioneering role in stimulating dialogue in support of efforts to transform the favorable climate and improving the energy sector growth.
ADIPEC 2022 kicks off one week before the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27) and in parallel with the UAE’s preparations to host the 28th session of the Conference (COP28), as it helps shape the energy sector dialogue to accelerate Finding practical solutions to address the most important challenges in the energy sector and provide a complete and successful path to the transformation process witnessed by the sector.
More than 1,200 speakers will participate in more than 350 conference sessions to exchange views and opinions on the most important investments, strategies and technical innovations in the energy sector, which is trying to achieve its climate neutrality goals.
Innovative solutions

Reduction of emissions
ADIPEC 2022 will see the launch of the Emissions Reduction Zone and the innovative Emissions Reduction Conference for the first time. The emissions reduction conference will be hosted by Bjorn Otto Sverdrup, chairman of the executive committee of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI); and Steven Hamburg, senior scientist and senior vice president of the Environmental Defense Fund, in a session focused on managing methane as a priority for climate action as they address the growing demand for robust and reliable data on global methane emissions.
ADNEC finishes its preparations
Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) has announced the completion of its preparations to host ADIPEC.
